The "mind" is much greater than just the human brain. It also incorporates the various nervous systems, spiritual journeys, historical events, the five senses, emotional experiences and reactions, and environments. Highly effective methods exist and are designed to promote balance.
Unified-Field Health Science recommends a behavioral science concept which employs the "4 A's". It begins with the individual having mental, emotional, or behavioral stress to raise their level of AWARENESS as to what they are experiencing, their environment, their resources and grasp the reality of their current state.
Once an individual has raised their level of awareness to their actual current conditions, it is appropriate to set aside any distorted thinking or delusion. ACCEPTANCE is the next step. Knowing the particular issues, obstacles and/or conflicts forms the starting point....the foundation upon which the improved mind is built.
Once awareness and acceptance has been achieved, the balancing and healing efforts require ATTENTION. Staying as much in the present time is effective because it is the only time which is real. When we focus excessively on the past (which we can't change) , it often stimulates depressive conditions. When we try to excessively anticipate the future (over which we have minimal control) , anxiety and fear often occurs. Maintain PRESENT ATTENTION.

The "Four A's" are components derived from the brilliant works of Dr. Shoma Morita.
Within the realm of integrative wellness and the mind, there are three elements which are vital to recognize.
WHEN ACTION AND BEHAVIOR IS POSITIVE...THE MIND WILL SOON CULTIVATE IMPROVED EMOTION AND COGNITION.
