Unified-Field Science, Morita, and the Mind

The "mind" is much more than just the human brain.  It incorporates the ANS (autonomic nervous system), the CNS (central nervous system) the peripheral nerves, meridian nerves and shrota systems. It also involves the five senses, a person's environments, personal experiences, spiritual dynamics, and energy fields to which a person is expose.

The mind has a constant interchange with the human physical body through a constellation of signals being transported from the mind to the body as well as the body to the mind. Underpinning this complexity of the mind is an individual's personal spiritual nature.   TO HEAL THE MIND IS TO HEAL THE BODY AND VICE VERSA.

Shoma Masatake Morita MD

...much more inclusive than you might think.

Dr. Morita, a Japanese psychiatrist who blended the science of mental and behavioral health with the rich tradition of reality and reverence of the wholeness of the mind -- brought forth a rebalancing of psychobehavioral performance.  Amongst the vast knowledge of the Morita Mind, several postulates emerged and have proven to be providential in today's quest for wellness:

  • Emotions are ever changing and cannot be spontaneously managed.
  • Thoughts are ever changing and cannot be spontaneously controlled.
  • Conduct/behavior is an element over which we have greater control -- evaluate before you act or respond. You cannot recapture unintended consequences.
  • Focus on the present and you can be fruitful. The "present" is the only time which is "real".

An Integrative View of the Mind

Thinking

Thinking = cognitive, mental function.  We don't "feel" our mental process...we "think" our mental process.  Science has proven that we cannot spontaneously change our thinking and that it will change over time with greater knowledge and experience.  Accept your cognition (memory, calculations, logic) but be invested in expanding your mental faculties.

Feeling

Feelings =emotions and reactions. We don't "think" our emotions...we "feel" our emotions. Science has proven that we cannot spontaneously control or change our emotions. They are what they are - accept them at the time and learn from them. Our feelings (emotions) will change over time with new experiences and wisdom.

Doing

While we cannot spontaneously change our emotions  or our thoughts, we indeed have greater control over our conduct, actions, and behavior.  Always strive to pause and consider if your impending action/reaction will be fruitful, productive, negatively impacting or generate unintended consequences.  Once our reactions and behaviors are done...we can't get them back.

"Once you give it a squeeze (your actions) , you can never get the toothpaste back in the tube."

Expanding the Mind

Our goal is to provide you the strategies and methods by which you can enhance your emotional and mental performance which govern your activities of daily behavior...

...and ultimately transport you to a higher level of consciousness, knowledge, and spiritual understanding.  We call it the "Superconscious".
